Did you see the new report on Project Serpo? You may be saying, "No, I don't even know what Project Serpo is!" Well before we look at the new report, lets have a little history lesson:

Project Serpo is a term in ufology circles referring to an alleged exchange programme between ultra top secret levels in the government of the United States and an alien homeworld called Serpo. It is speculated that Serpo is an (as yet officially uncharted) inhabited planet in the Zeta Reticuli system. Zeta Reticuli is a mapped binary star some 39 light years from Earth. In the 1990s it was thought that a planet had been detected here using advanced telescopes but that was later recanted by scientists who stated that it was merely a "wobble" caused by a pulsar. This has only increased speculation of a cover-up.

Since this story broke there has been a lot of information and web sites that have been created to either support the story or to argue against it:

A website at serpo.info was created by someone calling themselves "Tacitus Monroe" (Tacitus is Latin for silent, Monroe is an anagram for No More, thus "Silent No More"). The site featured only one page, on which was written a warning that he would release damaging info unless evidence was released. The deadline was midnight April 30th, Pacific time. At that time another message appeared saying:
Project SERPO: The Truth
Time is up.
True Disclosure will now take place.
I will be providing evidence to show the following:
Richard C. Doty is the sole source of all Serpo releases.
The Paul McGovern involved in verifying the SERPO story does NOT exist.
I fully expect a "Paul McGovern" to appear and claim "Here I am you idiot."
I have proof to renounce those claims.
Other people are actively involved in the Serpo releases. I know the identity of each of these individuals.
I will begin gradually releasing evidence of the above facts in 3 days (May 4th) unless a satisfactory explanation is provided.
The site has been updated with several pieces of evidence that Project SERPO is a hoax.
