JERRY LEWIS

It is Labor Day weekend and that means that in a few hours from now, the annual Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon will begin. For those who may not be familiar with the telethon, here is some history:

The Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon is hosted by Jerry Lewis for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. It has been held annually since 1966.
It is always held on Labor Day weekend, starting on the Sunday evening preceding Labor Day and continuing for 22 hours until late Monday afternoon, syndicated to 190 television stations throughout the United States and Canada. MDA calls its network of participating stations The Love Network.
