Does anyone remember Somalia?

Everyone is talking about Iraq and Iran but it seems everyone has forgotten about Somolia. We need to first look back.

It was 1993 and the United states Millitary was about to be involved in what became known as the Battle of Mogadishu:

The Battle of Mogadishu was fought on October 3 and 4, 1993 in Mogadishu, Somalia, between forces of the United States (by order of U.S. President Bill Clinton) and Somali guerrilla fighters (loyal to warlord Mohamed Farrah Aidid). (Wikipedia)

You can read about that battle and the History of Somalia at the following links:

Now jump ahead to today: June 10, 2006 ยท Islamist militia have held Somalia's capital for nearly a week. A U.S.-backed alliance of warlords has failed to hold control in the desperately poor African nation.
What is this going to mean for the War on Terror?
Are we going to have send troops?
