Bohemian Grove

Certain words and phrases are and will always be connected with conspiracy. Consider the following:

JFK Assassination

9/11

Roswell

Those things can rarely be talked about without a conspiracy being mentioned.

Let me give you another phrase that is surrounded in conspiracy:

Bohemian Grove

I know this is not a new story, and I have very little new to offer. What I try to do here at Worldview is bring together some of the best resources all in one place. So if a person is researching a topic, this blog can prove to be invaluable.

So let's see what we can learn about the Bohemian Grove.

Bohemian Grove is an 11 km² (2700 acre) campground located at 20601 Bohemian Avenue, in Monte Rio, California,[1] belonging to a private San Francisco-based men's art club known as the Bohemian Club. In mid-July each year, Bohemian Grove hosts a three-week encampment of some of the most powerful men in the world. Source: Wikipedia

With the combination of secrecy, power, and an elite bias, the Bohemian Grove has been a target for protest for many years. Specifically, the Bohemian Grove Action Network organizes protests and has aided journalists who wish to penetrate the secrecy surrounding the encampment. Over the years, individuals have infiltrated the Grove then later published video and claimed accounts of the activities at Bohemian Grove. Source Wikipedia

Finding an article about the grove on Wikipedia is not really that surprising. Trying to find a major news service that has articles or any information about the grove is very difficult. This is surprising considering how much the grove is talked about across the Internet. In my search of the Major News agencies for information I did find the following interesting tidbit:

In the summer of 2003, Karl Rove flew off to Bohemian Grove—the famed male-only retreat for the wealthy and powerful—where he had a revealing exchange in the Northern California woods about the state of affairs in Iraq. Spotting AOL founder James Kimsey, a big financial backer of President Bush who had just gotten back from Baghdad, Rove shouted out: “Hey Kimsey, it must have been wonderful to see the happy faces on all those liberated Iraqis!”

Kimsey was appalled. “Are you nuts?” he replied. He tried to tell the president’s political guru that the Iraqis he saw were sullen and resentful and that “if we don’t do something soon, all hell is going to break loose.”
But Rove wanted to hear nothing of it. “Nice talking to you,” Rove responded and walked away.

This article does support the claim that many of the most powerful people in the world go to the grove each year.

While searching for even more information I found this:

Peter Phillips is an Associate Professor of Sociology at Sonoma State University and Director of Project Censored He wrote his dissertation on the Bohemian Club in 1994.

There is also an article credited to him:
San Francisco Bohemian Club: Power, Prestige and GIobalism

Since there is not a lot of the major news agencies producing stories about the Bohemian Grove, people are left with the large number of videos on the Internet about the Grove.

I am going to provide links to a number of them for people to view and research for themselves.

On July 15, 2000, Austin, Texas-based journalist and filmmaker Alex Jones and his cameraman, Mike Hanson, became the first people [citation needed] to successfully infiltrate the Grove and make it out with documented evidence. With hidden cameras, Jones and Hanson were able to film the Cremation of Care ritual. The footage was the centerpiece of Jones' documentary, Dark Secrets: Inside Bohemian Grove. Source: Wikipedia

The above fact makes the Video "Dark Secrets" one of the most famous.

Also filmed for The Order of Death was Jones' return to the entrance of the Bohemian Grove in 2005 where he filmed a protest organized by the Bohemian Grove Action Network that took place at the Grove's entrance on Bohemian Highway, only to discover a majority of the protesters engaging in an "occult counter-ritual", supposedly a counter-ritual against the "Cremation of Care". That should be enough information and links to keep anyone busy.
